Animal Ark Vets in Goodmayes, Ilford are proud to be an RCVS Accredited Small Animal Practice.
How The Scheme Works
- The Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons (RCVS) regulates the veterinary profession.
- This includes individual veterinary surgeons and the practices in which the veterinary team works.
- We are proud to be accredited under the RCVS Practice Standards Scheme, a voluntary quality assurance programme.
- This involves passing rigorous inspections carried out by an experienced accreditor appointed by the RCVS.
- Areas of accreditation include many, but as an example include areas such as hygiene, staff training, emergency cover, facilities and equipment, and clinical governance.
What it Means for You
- Provides you with peace of mind, that you can be assured of a high quality standard of care throughout the practice.
Training Practice (TP)

What it Means for You
- Our nursing team is consistently involved in training, increasing skills and keeping up to date with best practice.
- The training not only builds the skills and qualifications of trainee nurses but also reinforces and updates the knowledge of qualified veterinary nurses as clinical assessors.
- Provides the comfort of knowing we are playing our role in helping develop nursing skills for the next generation of pets and their owners.
