‘Tinsel and Tails’ at Christmas Gathering
Lots of people and pets got into the Christmas spirit, dressing up for the occasion, supported by the Animal Ark crew wearing embarrassingly naff Christmas jumpers.
The air was filled with a lovely Christmas spirit with people having a good time, coupled with the spiced smell of mulled wine.
Santa’s Grotto was bigger and better than ever, complete with sled and Alaskan Malamutes. Young and old, two legged and four legged, joined in to visit Santa and deliver their wish list. You will be able to collect photos from Friday 13th December.
Local Animal Charities were on hand and we are proud to announce the Animal Ark community came out in typical fashion to provide support. Some of the charities raised record amounts, so on behalf of our furry friends we say a big thank you for your generous donations.
We see this gathering as our opportunity to say thank you for all your support throughout the year and beyond. So a big thank you goes out to all for the privilege of trusting us with your loved ones. We trust everybody enjoyed themselves and we would like to wish everyone a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!
A special thank you goes out to Sue and John Finan of ‘Marahootay’ for their Alaskan Malamutes ‘Mirage’, ‘Sultan’ and ‘Genie’. Sultan has just returned from America where he was crowned American Champion and American Grand Champion. Sue and John’s dogs also compete in sled dog rallies. Footnote: People have asked if there is a charge for the photos. As in prior years, there is no charge, we provide them with our compliments. Some people like to donate to the stray fund which is always appreciated by our furry friends, but by no means obligatory. Photos can be collected from Friday 13th December.
