‘Drowning’ Dog Rescue Makes Front Page News

Posted by Lyndon Basha in News | Article permalink on Jun 20 2013

‘Carino’, an 18 month old Pomeranian was rescued by three teenage boys from South Park lake on Sunday.

He was brought to us for medical care, suffering from fatigue and a few grazes. After a good clean up and a big rest he should be ok.

Carino was one of the lucky ones – for despite not having a microchip he was eventually reunited with his family. When a stray dog is brought in to us, the first thing we do is scan for a microchip with the hope of finding an owner.

His owner Adela Gorolova commented ‘All day we looked and looked but we couldn’t find him. I’m so happy he’s back, and my children are too. I was crying every day and now I can sleep and eat like before. Without him it was awful- he’s my baby.’
