LYNDON BASHA

Lyndon Basha has been with Animal Ark since it opened in 2002.

Lyndon graduated from University of Queensland, Australia in 1991, before coming to England in 1992.

He says “It is an honour and a privilege to be a vet. I enjoy everything involved day to day. Perhaps the most enjoyment is the fact each and every day you have no idea what challenges will be involved”.

Lyndon has a large menagerie of pets including cats, dogs and small furries.

He enjoys spending his spare time with his family.

ALEX BRADNICK

Alex graduated from the University of Bristol in 2017 and joined the Animal Ark team shortly after.

Alex is originally from rural Worcestershire and (unlike his cat Sooty) is a keen sportsman. Although he used to play rugby and sprint competitively, he has now traded these activities in for the more sedate climbing and snooker.

In his spare time he likes to explore the hidden secrets of London and, when the weather permits, go hiking and wild camping.

LEANNE BROOKER

Leanne graduated from the Royal Veterinary College in 2010, joining Animal Ark shortly after graduation. She then left for the big wide world spending 14 months travelling before returning to the Ark in May 2015.

She is extremely pleased to be returning to her familiar clients and patients again to assist in keeping them happy and healthy. Leanne enjoys all areas of veterinary medicine but has a particular passion for soft tissue surgery and feline medicine.

When not at work Leanne enjoys photography, painting and horse riding.

JESSICA DINCER

Jess graduated from the Royal Veterinary College in 2013 and worked at another multi-vet practice before joining Animal Ark in 2016.

Jess has a keen interest in feline medicine and surgery, and intends of furthering her expertise by completing a certificate in the future.

Jess is a keen chess player, and often plays in her spare time. Despite living in London all her life, you still find her sightseeing across the capital in her spare time, with her favourite museum being the Natural History Museum (of course!).

At home she has a big bouncy staffie named Toni. His partner in crime is a very naughty but playful cat called Pasha!

HAYLEY GILES

Hayley graduated from the Royal Veterinary College and since then has been working in busy small animal hospitals in Essex and London.

Hayley has a particular interest in soft tissue surgery and emergency and critical care.

At the end of this year she will be working on behalf of Animal Ark Vets for an animal charity in Sri Lanka looking after strays.

Outside of work Hayley enjoys long walks in Highgate where she lives, rewarded with a nice glass of wine at the local pub and keeping up to date with the art exhibitions across London.

KURRAN PARTI

Kurran has been part of the Animal Ark team for over 10 years, initially working on weekends before going on to complete a degree in Animal Science at Nottingham University and then Veterinary Medicine at Warsaw University of Life Sciences. He had the good fortune of undertaking practical placements in America and India during his studies.

Kurran is a local boy and it is great to see him play an important role in the community.

While enjoying all aspects of vet life, he has a keen interest in soft tissue surgery .

In his spare time Kurran likes to play football, tennis and travel.

KATHRYN REDMAN

Kathryn graduated from the Royal Veterinary College in 2017 and joined the Animal Ark shortly after to begin her veterinary career. She has been lucky enough to complete many hands on placements in private and charity practice in the UK and abroad, such as Sri Lanka.

Kathryn has a keen interest in all aspects of veterinary medicine but most notably small animal medicine and feline behaviour and hopes to complete a certificate in the future.

Outside of work Kathryn enjoys netball, snowboarding and tasting all the great food London has to offer. Whilst excited to now be living in London, Kathryn also often enjoys a few days in Sussex to spend time with the family pets – 2 dogs, 2 cats and 2 rabbits!

MONIKA ZAPRYANOVA

Monika graduated as a Veterinary Surgeon from Trakia University, Bulgaria in 2013. After one year working as a veterinary surgeon she came to the United Kingdom pursuing her quest to build her  professional development.

In August 2015 Monika joined Animal Ark initially as part of the night team providing 24 hour round the clock care for our inpatients.

In 2016 she transitioned to the veterinary day team.

Monika owns a cat, a dog and recently rescued a dove called Pigule. She likes to relax with Pilates and yoga in her free time.

JAMES CREASEY

James has a keen interest in key-hole surgery, both orthopaedic and soft tissue and in dealing with complex trauma cases.

James holds regular Consultation and Surgery sessions at Animal Ark.

Before joining Animal Ark in 2013 James graduated from Bristol veterinary school in 2003, spending his initial time as a veterinary surgeon focusing on surgery before obtaining his Certificate in Small Animal Surgery (Orthopaedics and soft tissue surgery) in 2009.
