 LYNDON BASHA
Lyndon Basha has been with Animal Ark since it opened in 2002.
Lyndon graduated from
University of Queensland, Australia in 1991, before coming to
England in 1992.
He says "It is an honour and a privilege to be a vet. I enjoy everything involved day to day. Perhaps the most enjoyment is the fact each and every day you have no idea what challenges will be involved".
Lyndon has a large menagerie of pets including cats, dogs and small furries.
He enjoys spending his spare

KIRSTY BISHOP
Kirsty Bishop joined us in July 2008 from her
home town of Addlestone, Surrey.
Within weeks of joining Animal Ark, Kirsty
adopted an abandoned kitten called Olive and has since added another
two cats to her household. Buzz and Mildred.
Kirsty graduated from Bristol University in
2008.
In her spare time Kirsty likes to draw, paint
and socialise.

HERMANN HEYL
Hermann has become our
second Irish vet, joining us in September 2008 graduating from
Dublin University.
Hermann has a sporting
background, having represented Ireland in Basketball.
He also
enjoys surfing and other outdoor activities.

ROSE PEARL
Rose Pearl joined Animal
Ark in November 2005.
Rose, who graduated from
Liverpool University, is currently studying for an RCVS
Ophthalmology Certificate.
Rose enjoys natural
medicine and the use of acupuncture and is a member of the
Association of British Veterinary Acupuncturists (ABVA).
Rose has a cat, Llinos,
a devon rex she rehomed.
In her spare time Rose plays music and is in a band called Karma
Junkie. |

SAM POWER
Sam joined Animal Ark
in September 2009.
Sam arrived from
Sydney in June 2009 and did some travelling in Europe before
settling down in Goodmayes.
Sam enjoys all kinds of sport, especially rugby.

KRISTEN SUTTON
Kristen joined Animal
Ark in September 2009.
Kristen arrived from
Sydney in April 2009 and worked in the Essex area before joining
Animal Ark.
In her spare time
Kristen enjoys reading, running and coffee!

ALBERTUS (A.D.) VILJOEN
A.D. (pronounced
ar-dee-ah) joined Animal Ark in October 2008. He is our ‘South
African Vet’.
Before arriving in the
UK, A.D. experienced a wide range of practice in South Africa from
running a community outreach clinic in the African Bush to being a
clinician and lecturer at a 200 staff university college vet
hospital.
In his spare time, A.D. enjoys the outdoor life and regularly takes
hikes in the UK countryside, plays piano and guitar.
