Client Care Crew
Scott heads up the Client Care team as Client Care Team Leader.
Scott joined animal ark in August 2017. He has a degree in Zoo Management from the University of Chester & Reaseheath College.
Scott has previously worked at Colchester Zoo where he worked with tigers, wolves, hippos & birds of prey.
Scott is a people person and joined Animal Ark so that he could work with both animals and humans!
Nikki is one of the longest serving team members at Animal Ark, joining us in 2003.
Nikki started life here as a trainee veterinary nurse. She then went on to become Nursing Manager and Client Care Manager before starting a family. Nikki is now responsible for insurance claims processing, which may not sound the most exciting of topics, but it is a very important aspect for our clients to help them afford appropriate treatment for their pets.
In her spare time, Nikki enjoys spending time with her family.
Jodi joined Animal Ark in March 2015 helping clients with their accounts.
Prior to joining Animal Ark Jodi worked in the financial sector within the motor trade so is a whizz with numbers.
She has three young children that keep her busy on a day-to-day basis and in her free time enjoys going to the gym.
Hannah joined Animal Ark at the beginning of 2018 and handles client insurance claims.
Hannah has experience in working with large insurance companies. She has returned to the UK from helping manage a family business in southern Spain.
Hannah has two rescued guinea pigs, George and Rodney and a lovely little rescue dog, Molly, who joined Hannah from Animal Ark’s re-homing scheme. Hannah also has a keen interest in horses and one of her fondest memories is swimming with dolphins while living in Mallorca.
Karolina joined Animal in 2018 after a number of years experience in reception/admin.
She enjoys meeting new pets and breeds that are not common.
Karolina has a creative side, in particular photography.
Kate heads up the Client Care team as Client Care Team Leader.
Kate joined Animal Ark in April 2018 and thoroughly enjoys her work at the practice. She’s always owned animals for as long as she can remember, including horses and dogs.
Previously she owned a bar in Mallorca for two years which was great fun but decided to come back to Essex to be nearer to her family.
In any spare time Kate loves exploring new places in her campervan with her nutty border collie brothers, Archie and Milo, and also spending time with her grandchildren.
Abby joined Animal Ark at the beginning of 2019.
Abby was born in the UK but left before she was a year old and grew up in the Middle East, returning to the UK in 2019.
From a young age she has possessed a passion for animals and while living in Abu Dhabi she dove head first into the equestrian and falconry communities.
She was a senior bird trainer for four years at Emirates Park Zoo working with owls, eagles, hawks, vultures and falcons and helped develop the zoo’s bird facilities.
She married her husband, a herpetologist, in 2016 after meeting at the zoo and together they started their home zoo.
Currently Abby has two cats and a baby cane toad, but expected to grow given their return to the UK.
Charlotte joined the Animal Ark team in Summer 2019.
Charlotte is a qualified Science Teacher but has left the chalk-face in search of a new adventure at Animal Ark. She is passionate about helping others and is a true animal lover.
She has a 2 year old rescue Husky, called Willow, who loves looooooonnnnnnnnggggggg walks, chasing squirrels and treats. She also has two cats called Gypsy and Dave.
Liz is Animal Ark’s Practice Manager, and has many years’ experience in managing veterinary clinics, a role she has always thoroughly enjoyed, and none more so than here at Animal Ark with a superb team and a wonderful community of caring pet owners.
Married with five children, Liz’s house is bursting with animals; everything from a crazy dog who is almost blind and an entire little family of cats, to a tiny Russian hamster, her son’s exotic pets and the family favourite, Mr Piggles the guinea-pig, all from local rescue charities or through Animal Ark’s re-homing program.
Liz is part of a lively church family and in her spare time she is a keen horse rider and mountain biker, but has been known to opt for more leisurely family walks in the countryside – and meals in country pubs!
